Everlab is an Australia Healthtech startup that is building the platform to look after people’s health for their entire lives. It’s not just an app; it’s the infrastructure to connect every available healthcare service to give you comprehensive data on your health to provide personalised care.
We’ve had a 23x increase in revenue since our Seed round raise of $15m in June 2025 making this an exciting time to join as our Engineering team is still lean and solving interesting problems from very early stages & we’re about to scale rapidly - locally and globally.
We're hiring Senior, Staff, and Principal Engineers in Sydney with hybrid working (2-3 days a week in office) across five squads:
Platform: DevOps, performance, infrastructure. You'll own the foundation everything else runs on as we scale across markets.
Supply: Integrations with clinical services, third-party diagnostics, appointments, and bookings. Lots of distributed systems thinking - HL7/FHIR, external APIs, reliability at the edges.
Clinical Operations: Backend workflow for doctors and ops teams. Complex domain modelling, FSM-driven state management, and deep collaboration with clinicians as your internal customers.
Patient App: Consumer-facing iOS, Android, and web. Pixel-perfect UI work, real-time health data visualisation and the challenge of making complex clinical information feel simple.
Core Services: Payments, notifications, events, and the shared infrastructure other squads build on. If you like designing APIs that 50 engineers will depend on, this is your team.
What you will do:
The work in each squad varies but some of your day to day could include:
Product and platform development: Design, build, and maintain high-quality software across Everlab’s platform, working with technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, React, and GCP. You’ll contribute across frontend, backend, and infrastructure depending on your strengths and interests.
Scaling medical operations: Build tools, automation, and systems that enable doctors and care managers to deliver exceptional preventative care at scale, reducing operational friction and improving member outcomes.
Clinic and diagnostics enablement: Develop systems that support Everlab’s physical clinics, including booking workflows, operational automation, and integration with diagnostic devices and data sources.
Customer-facing experiences: Collaborate with designers, engineers, and customers to architect, launch, and iterate on Everlab’s customer app and digital experiences.
Market and infrastructure expansion: Help design repeatable infrastructure and platform capabilities that support launching Everlab into new cities and markets efficiently.
Technical leadership: Contribute to technical decision-making, code quality, and best practices. Mentor other engineers and help raise the bar for engineering excellence across the team.
What we’re looking for:
As we’re hiring across multiple squads, we look for Senior, Staff and Principal Engineers with Front End, Back End or Full Stack skill sets. You may not have experience in all of our stack and that is fine.
Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong track record of building and shipping production systems in early-stage or high-growth product environments.
Technical expertise: Breadth or specialist in TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, React, and our cloud infrastructure is on GCP.
Customer-obsessed mindset: You care deeply about building products that create exceptional customer experiences. You understand the responsibility that comes with building software for healthcare and are motivated by meaningful impact.
Relentless problem-solving: You’re resourceful, pragmatic, and comfortable getting into the weeds. You know how to move quickly with limited resources while still thinking strategically and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Incredible teammate: You communicate with clarity and kindness, value feedback, and care more about team success than individual ego. You’re comfortable disagreeing thoughtfully and committing once decisions are made.
Why it's great to work at Everlab:
Do work that matters: We’re building the future of preventive health. Use your skills to prevent disease, improve access to personalised care, and reduce pressure on the health system.
High growth environment: We've found great PMF early, with revenue growth not often seen at our stage. People that enjoy the pace and opportunities of this stage thrive in our environment.
Work-life flexibility: Hybrid working with 2 to 3 days in the office, plus flexibility to manage life beyond the 9 to 5 when it matters.
Experience Everlab as a customer: Full access to the Everlab health program, provided after successfully passing probation.
Share in our success: Employee Share Option Plan included as part of your total remuneration. We grow together.
People you’ll love working with: A welcoming, mission-driven team of smart, thoughtful people doing meaningful work.

About Everlab
Everlab is on a mission to build the future of preventive health — empowering people to take control of their wellbeing before problems arise.
Everlab is an early stage HealthTech startup that recently announced a $15m Seed stage round, building tech-enabled healthcare that improves and extends quality of life using cutting-edge medical research and technology. Our products design and coach our members through personalised risk-management and health-optimisation protocols over months and years to measurably improve lives.
Our founding team is experienced in the Medical industry including the preventative health specialist who founded Australia’s first full-body MRI clinic, to serial entrepreneurs that have scaled unicorns and have $500m+ in exits.
Our mission is to solve high-impact problems in healthcare that have never been tackled before, which isn’t easy. We look for people that are excited by this mission and the challenges they bring as our team is driven to solve these problems together.
Our team is hybrid with 2-3 days a week in office, within the CBD of the job's posted location.
